Have you ever had a feeling of emptyness after finish watching a great anime series?
For me, this feeling is especially happens after marathoning an anime series. The feeling will get stronger the longer the series is.
Tried to google around and found out that there is even a term for this. It is called Post Anime Depression Syndrome, abbreviated as PADS.
Also found out a great article about this at this site. The article does a great job elaborating the feeling.
Well, I believe after some time (usually the next day) this feeling will gradually dissappear.
However, the worst period is the period just after finishing the anime. It seems like a couple of hours is wasted depressing over things that is no longer there.
Here are a couple of tips :
– Stay away from anime for a while!
Unless you have anime of the same quality as you just have. Though, after you have run out of such quality of anime, the feeling will reoccur. So, at the end, this just to delay the feeling. Don’t watch inferior quality series, you will just waste your time because it won’t be give you the same adrenaline boost as the one you just watched.
– Watch comedy shows
Whatever it is, comedy movies, youtube videos, sitcoms.
– Just go to bed
Good to reset your feeling. You will feel much refreshed the days afterwards.
